Report
League leaders Chirnside made the journey to Home Park on Saturday in the hope of extending their lead at the top of the table.
The home team started brightly and they seemed to be adapting better to the sodden conditions. They took the lead after just five minutes following keeper Luggett's slip the Left Winger nipped in to score from an acute angle.
The goal acted as a wake up call to the men in green and they equalised five minutes later when Morrison side footed home after a cross from the right. It wasn't long before number two arrived and it was former Coldstream player Stuart that scored via the keepers right hand post.
Chirnside were now looking the hungrier of the two teams and were causing problems whenever the ball came down the right hand side. Number three was scored after 25 minutes when Shennan's cross from right was volleyed home by Turner's trusty left foot.
Before half time the away team looked to have put the game beyond Coldstream when Stuart popped up again to net his second and Chirnside's fourth.
The second half kicked off and the game carried on in the same vain as the first with the away team doing most of the attacking. They never added to their tally until substitute Lauder who came on for Stuart followed up Hume's inital shot that held up on the line.
Chirnside should have scored a few more but poor finishing and good goalkeeping kept them out. However with five minutes to go they did add one more when Shennan scored number six.
